While a lot of homes in the Austin area are flying off the market, houses in the luxury price point are actually sitting on the market a little bit longer. In Austin, we classify a luxury home as a property that’s priced at $1,000,000 or higher.
Since these properties are taking a bit longer to sell, you can typically negotiate the price more than you’d be able to on a lower priced home. We’ve had phenomenal success recently with our clients purchasing luxury homes, so get the seller to drop the price quite a bit.
