Is Moving To Austin Worth It?

Since I was 9 years old I spent a significant amount of time in Austin as my parents had a business here.  Austin was wildly different than it is today, and I’ve loved it no matter which phase of growth it’s been in.  Austin has doubled in size about every 20 years since it was founded, and when I decided to live full time in Austin as a student at UT in the 90s, I knew after graduation I had to find a way back.  Before I did though I moved out of the country twice, once to the Cayman Islands and then to Italy.  Austin still drew me back despite the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and pasta, gelato and wine of Italy.  Austin has the best of everything – Music, Night Life, a thriving Restaurant scene, Job opportunities and outdoor living at its finest- from trails, to lakes to rock climbing and so much more.  There is a reason Austin is ranked at the top of most every Best Of list!

If you love music, the tech scene, independent film, and all kinds of food, you won’t regret moving to Austin.
